Taking This a Little Slower

So, last post, I did a quick textual overview of Blogger and why I liked using it.

But, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.  I promise I won't write all that much. . .

When you start out and make a blog, you will eventually come to the page where you go into do a bit of design.  And actually, you will need to go to the link at the upper right of you blog that says design. As you are going through this short tutorial, you can click on the pictures and make them bigger so you can actually see them.  For most of you , they will come up in a pop up screen and to get out of the picture, you simply click the X in the corner.

Your next page will look like this:

If you notice on the left you have a list of all the things you can do, starting at the top with New Post in orange.

Another thing that is too cool is that it not only makes a blog for your computer--or tablet--or lap top--but it also makes a blog that is just for the cellie!Those are the two preview pictures to the right of the list on the left.

Next, you will go to layout and it is there it will show you the layout of the page.  It may look a lot like this.  I say may as I have chosen a two column template--you may opt for three.

If you notice, some of the bars have links on them.  These will allow you to add pictures and the gadgets links will allow you to add pictures,HTML/java and other things link lists of links. It looks something like this:

That pop up window has all of the little gadgets you can add.  And once added, you can, from the layout page arrange them up and down deleting if you wish and adding when you wish to keep your blog fresh.
